to NCHS
Nevada Christian Home School is a statewide nonprofit 501c3 tax exempt corporation established as a support organization for homeschoolers in Nevada. Our main purpose is to encourage homeschool families and promote the local support group by providing website advertising, counseling, and connecting families in the homeschool community. NCHS is a Christian corporation but all are welcome to join.
Our mission is to promote a Christian worldview in the homeschool community; assist families who are new to homeschooling; provide encouragement and support for parents who are educating their teen through high school; offer guest speaker events and workshops to educate and encourage homeschool families; and provide help to the support group leader. NCHS is available to guide those interested in beginning a support group of their own. Our board and department heads have over twenty years of homeschool experience in Nevada. We are available to encourage you with your personal homeschool challenges.
Membership Benefits Include: Discount for NCHS Coyote Teen Group events; Home School Legal Defense Association membership discount; Discount for Guest Speaker events and workshops; Members can advertise their used curriculum for sale**; online newsletter; and email groups. Use your NCHS membership card to receive teacher discounts at participating local stores.
Our email group is for NCHS information without any chat; our NCHS-chat group provides opportunity to interact with other homeschoolers. NCHS members can join our chat group by subscribing at NCHS-chat@yahoogroups.com.
